What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, Electronic Advertising encompasses various online assets related to the franchised business or the Crawlspace Medic brand. This includes domain names, social media accounts, hypertext markup language, uniform resource locator addresses, access to corresponding internet web sites, and the right to hyperlink to certain web sites and listings on various internet search engines.
For a prospective Crawlspace Medic franchisee, understanding the scope of 'Electronic Advertising' is crucial as it defines the online presence and marketing activities they can undertake. It is important to note that the franchisee may acquire interest in these electronic listings during the term of the Franchise Agreement.
Upon termination of the Franchise Agreement, or if requested by Crawlspace Medic, the franchisee must immediately transfer all rights and interests in the Electronic Advertising to the franchisor. This highlights the importance of building a strong online presence while understanding that these assets ultimately belong to the franchisor. Franchisees should ensure they are fully aware of the terms and conditions regarding the use and transfer of these digital assets as outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
