What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee fails to attend any mandatory training program, they are required to obtain the training at a location designated by Crawlspace Medic. This will be at the franchisee's sole cost.

The costs incurred by the franchisee include tuition at the then-current rate, plus all of the franchisee's travel costs, as well as the travel costs for Crawlspace Medic's trainer. This means a franchisee who misses mandatory training not only has to make up the training, but also bears the full financial burden of doing so.

This policy underscores the importance Crawlspace Medic places on ongoing training and development. By requiring franchisees to cover all associated costs, Crawlspace Medic incentivizes attendance and ensures franchisees remain current with required training. Franchisees should factor these potential expenses into their operating budget and prioritize attendance at all mandatory training sessions to avoid these additional costs.
