What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee cannot display any sign or advertising media at their business location or vehicle if Crawlspace Medic reasonably objects to it, including outdated materials.
Crawlspace Medic has the right to enter the franchisee's location or vehicle to remove any objectionable or non-approved signs or advertising media without compensation or being held liable for trespass or any other tort. Franchisees must also prominently display approved signs using Crawlspace Medic's marks and advertising materials as directed by Crawlspace Medic.
Furthermore, all advertising and promotion by the franchisee must be conducted professionally and conform to Crawlspace Medic's standards. Franchisees need to submit all advertising, press releases, promotional plans, and public relations programs to Crawlspace Medic for approval. If Crawlspace Medic fails to respond within ten business days, the plans are deemed disapproved, and the franchisee cannot use them until written approval is obtained. Franchisees must also discontinue any advertising or promotional materials upon notice from Crawlspace Medic, regardless of prior approval.
