What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests additional on-site remedial training and assistance, or if Crawlspace Medic deems it necessary, the franchisee will be responsible for covering specific costs. This additional support is subject to the availability of Crawlspace Medic personnel.
The franchisee is required to pay a per diem fee for the services of the trained representatives providing the on-site assistance. The exact amount of this per diem fee is outlined in the Operations Manual and represents the standard charge to franchisees within the Crawlspace Medic system.
In addition to the per diem fee, the franchisee must also cover the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for the Crawlspace Medic representatives during the period they are providing on-site training and assistance. This means the total cost for the additional training will depend on the duration of the training, the distance traveled, and the prevailing rates for accommodation and food in the area where the franchised business is located.
