What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for completing the Initial Training Program. Prior to the opening date of the franchise, the franchisee must satisfactorily complete Crawlspace Medic's Initial Training Program.
The FDD does not specify which expenses related to the Initial Training Program are the responsibility of the franchisee. It is common practice in the franchise industry for franchisees to cover their own travel, lodging, and personal expenses during training, but the FDD does not explicitly state this.
A prospective Crawlspace Medic franchisee should ask the franchisor for a detailed breakdown of all costs associated with the Initial Training Program, including any fees, materials, travel expenses, and other costs that the franchisee will be responsible for covering.
