Crawlspace_Medic Franchise · 2024 FDD

Answer from 2024 FDD Document

We may conduct mandatory or optional additional training programs, including an annual conference or national business meeting. If we require it, you must attend mandatory training programs that we offer for up to five (5) days each year, and an annual conference or national business meeting for up to three (3) days each year, at a location we designate. Failure to attend mandatory training, including an annual conference or business meeting is a default under the Franchise Agreement. We reserve the right to impose a reasonable fee for tuition and/or attendance for all additional training programs, including the annual business meeting or conference. You must also pay your transportation, lodging, meals and other expenses to attend any mandatory training program. If you fail to attend any mandatory training program, you are required to obtain the training at a location we designate, at your sole cost, which includes tuition at the then-current rate, plus all of your travel costs and our trainer's travel costs.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the location for mandatory additional training programs, including the annual conference or national business meeting, is designated by Crawlspace Medic. If attendance to these programs is required, the franchisee must attend for up to five days each year for training programs and up to three days each year for the annual conference or national business meeting.

The franchisee is responsible for all costs associated with attending any mandatory training program, including transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses. Crawlspace Medic also reserves the right to impose a reasonable fee for tuition and/or attendance for all additional training programs, including the annual business meeting or conference.

If a franchisee fails to attend any mandatory training program, they are required to obtain the training at a location designated by Crawlspace Medic. The franchisee is responsible for the sole cost of this training, including tuition at the then-current rate, plus all of their travel costs and Crawlspace Medic's trainer's travel costs. This highlights the importance of attending the initial mandatory training to avoid additional expenses and ensure compliance with the Franchise Agreement.
