What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must obtain all required licenses to operate the franchised business before the opening date. If the franchisee fails to comply with this obligation, Crawlspace Medic has the right to prohibit the franchisee from opening for business.
This requirement means that a prospective Crawlspace Medic franchisee needs to prioritize securing all necessary licenses and permits well in advance of their planned opening. Failure to do so could result in a delay in the launch of their business, potentially impacting their revenue projections and overall investment timeline.
Franchisees should work closely with Crawlspace Medic to understand the specific licensing requirements in their territory and develop a plan to obtain them efficiently. This proactive approach can help avoid any last-minute complications and ensure a smooth opening process. It is also important to note that the franchisee is responsible for the safety and security of the franchised business location, personnel, customers, agents, and the general public.
