What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crawlspace Medic may contribute to the Brand Fund on the same basis as the franchisee. This contribution applies specifically to Crawlspace Medic outlets that are operated by Crawlspace Medic itself or by its affiliates.
This means that if Crawlspace Medic or its affiliates operate their own Crawlspace Medic locations, they may contribute to the Brand Fund in the same way that franchisees do. The Brand Fund is used for various advertising, marketing, and promotional activities to enhance the recognition and acceptance of the Crawlspace Medic brand. These activities include television, radio, magazine, social media, newspaper, and electronic advertising campaigns, as well as direct mail, outdoor billboard advertising, public relations, marketing research, website development, and personnel costs for advertising.
While Crawlspace Medic has the option to contribute to the Brand Fund, it is not obligated to do so. This discretionary contribution is based on the number of Crawlspace Medic outlets they operate. The Brand Fund is intended to benefit all franchisees by maximizing brand recognition and acceptance, but Crawlspace Medic does not guarantee that expenditures will be equivalent or proportionate to each franchisee's contribution or that any franchisee will directly benefit from advertising efforts.
