Who is allowed to access Crawlspace Medic's Confidential Information besides the franchisee and principals?

According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, certain employees of the franchisee may be granted access to confidential information. Specifically, employees who require the information for training and to assist in the operation of the franchised business can access confidential information.

To ensure the confidentiality of this information, Crawlspace Medic requires that franchisees obtain a written agreement from these employees (referred to as "Covenantor" in the FDD). This agreement protects the confidential information and safeguards the Crawlspace Medic system against unfair competition. The employee, or Covenantor, must agree to maintain the confidentiality of the information and use it only in connection with their employment with the franchisee for the Crawlspace Medic business.

The agreement also stipulates that the employee cannot make copies of documents containing confidential information without the franchisor's express written permission. Upon request or termination of employment, the employee must return all materials containing confidential information to the franchisee or Crawlspace Medic. These measures are in place to protect Crawlspace Medic's trade secrets and maintain a competitive advantage within the crawlspace and basement service industry.
