Although the Brand Fund is intended to be of perpetual duration, Franchisor may terminate it at any time and for any reason or no reason.
Franchisor will not terminate the Brand Fund, however, until all monies in the Brand Fund have been spent for advertising or promotional purposes or returned to contributors, without interest, on the basis of their respective contributions.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crawl Space Ninja's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Fund is intended to be of perpetual duration; however, Crawl Space Ninja may terminate it at any time, for any reason, or for no reason. If the Brand Fund is terminated, Crawl Space Ninja will not do so until all monies in the fund have been spent for advertising or promotional purposes. Alternatively, the monies can be returned to the contributors without interest, based on their respective contributions.
This means that if Crawl Space Ninja decides to end the Brand Fund, franchisees can expect one of two outcomes for the money they contributed. Either the funds will be used for advertising and promotional activities to benefit the Crawl Space Ninja system, or the remaining balance will be returned to the franchisees in proportion to what they initially paid into the fund.
It is important to note that the funds will be returned without interest. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as the primary purpose of the Brand Fund is to support the collective marketing efforts of the franchise system, not to generate a return on investment for individual franchisees.
