Answer from 2024 FDD Document

We estimate the typical length of time between the signing of the Franchise Agreement and the time you open your Crawl Space Ninja franchised business is 30 to 90 days. Factors that may affect this time period include your ability to acquire financing or permits; secure storage space; complete vehicle modifications, and complete required training. If you have not opened your Franchised Business within either (i) ninety (90) days after you sign the Franchise Agreement, or (ii) sixty (60) days after you satisfactorily complete the Initial Management Training Program, you must obtain our consent to extend the time to open, which we may or may not grant, at our discretion. Failure to open your Franchised Business within the original time as extended, is a default of the Franchise Agreement. (Franchise Agreement, Sections 8.1, 8.3)

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crawl Space Ninja's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated time to open a franchise ranges from 30 to 90 days after signing the Franchise Agreement. However, several factors can influence this timeframe. These include the franchisee's ability to secure financing and necessary permits, find suitable storage space, complete any required vehicle modifications, and finish the mandatory training program.

Specifically, franchisees must complete the Initial Management Training Program to Crawl Space Ninja's satisfaction. Failure to open the franchise within 90 days of signing the Franchise Agreement or within 60 days of completing the Initial Management Training Program requires the franchisee to obtain consent from Crawl Space Ninja to extend the opening date. This consent may or may not be granted at Crawl Space Ninja's discretion.

Failing to open the Crawl Space Ninja franchise within the initially agreed-upon or extended timeframe constitutes a default of the Franchise Agreement. This highlights the importance of franchisees proactively addressing all potential delays and maintaining open communication with the franchisor throughout the opening process.
