What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave Cookies's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave Cookies retains the right to use the internet and other channels to make sales within a franchisee's territory. Specifically, Crave Cookies is not restricted from soliciting or accepting orders from consumers inside a franchisee's territory.
Crave Cookies reserves the right to use various distribution channels, including the internet, catalog sales, telemarketing, and other direct marketing sales, to operate within a franchisee's territory. These sales can be made using Crave Cookies's principal trademarks or even different trademarks than those used by the franchisee.
Importantly, the franchisee will not receive any compensation for sales that Crave Cookies solicits or accepts within the franchisee's territory. The franchisee does not have the right to use these other channels of distribution outside their territory unless they obtain written permission from Crave Cookies. This means that while a franchisee can accept unsolicited orders from outside their territory, they cannot actively solicit orders from areas owned by other franchisees.
