What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave Cookies' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, outlet opening data is presented in several tables within Item 20. Specifically, Table 1 provides a system-wide outlet summary for the years 2021 to 2024. Table 3 details the status of franchised outlets for the same period. Table 4 covers the status of company-owned outlets, while Table 2 focuses on transfers of outlets to new owners. Table 5 shows projected openings as of December 31, 2025.
One table shows the number of outlets opened in Utah from 2021 to 2024. In 2021, 2022 and 2023, zero outlets were opened. In 2024, one outlet was reacquired from a franchisee, resulting in two outlets at the end of the year. Another table presents the number of franchise agreements signed but outlets not yet opened, along with projected new franchised and company-owned outlets for the next fiscal year, broken down by state. For example, as of the end of 2024, Colorado had 18 franchise agreements signed but the outlets were not yet opened, and Crave Cookies projects 3 new franchised outlets in Colorado for the next fiscal year.
Another table shows the number of franchised outlets opened system-wide. In 2022, 8 franchised outlets opened. In 2023, 13 franchised outlets opened, and in 2024, 14 franchised outlets opened. This table also tracks company-owned outlets and total outlets, showing the net change in each category year by year.
Finally, one table provides a detailed breakdown of outlet openings, terminations, and closures by state and year. For Arizona in 2023, 2 outlets opened, and in 2024, 1 outlet ceased operations for other reasons, resulting in 1 outlet at the end of the year.
