What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave Cookies' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Location Acceptance Letter issued by Crave Cookies Franchising includes the specific location of the business and the territory granted to the franchisee. This letter serves as formal acceptance of the proposed location submitted by the franchisee. The territory is determined by Crave Cookies Franchising in its good faith discretion, substantially in accordance with Item 12 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.
If a prospective Crave Cookies franchisee's proposed location is not accepted in writing within 30 days, it is considered rejected. The Location Acceptance Letter is issued in accordance with Section 6.1 of the Franchise Agreement. The FDD specifies that Crave Cookies Franchising's advice or acceptance of a site does not guarantee the success of the business, and Crave Cookies Franchising assumes no liability regarding the location of the business.
In cases where the territory is not defined in writing within 60 days after the business opens, the territory will default to the zip codes immediately surrounding the franchised business location, encompassing approximately 75,000 people. This provides a default protection area for the franchisee if a formal territory agreement is not established promptly. The franchisee must submit their proposed location to Crave Cookies Franchising for acceptance, along with any related information requested by Crave Cookies Franchising.
