During what hours can Crave Cookies Franchising conduct inspections of the Business?

- 11.2 Inspections. Crave Cookies Franchising may enter the premises of the Business from time to time during normal business hours and conduct an inspection.
Franchisee shall cooperate with Crave Cookies Franchising's inspectors.
The inspection may include, but is not limited to, observing operations, conducting a physical inventory, evaluating physical conditions, monitoring sales activity, speaking with employees and customers, and removing samples of products, supplies and materials.
Crave Cookies Franchising may videotape and/or take photographs of the inspection and the Business.
Crave Cookies Franchising may set a minimum score requirement for inspections, and Franchisee's failure to meet or exceed the minimum score will be a default under this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave Cookies's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave Cookies Franchising has the right to inspect the premises of the franchised business during normal business hours. This means that a Crave Cookies representative can enter the store to conduct an inspection while it is open for business.
The inspection may include observing operations, conducting a physical inventory, evaluating physical conditions, monitoring sales activity, speaking with employees and customers, and removing samples of products, supplies, and materials. Crave Cookies is also permitted to videotape and/or take photographs during the inspection.
Crave Cookies may set a minimum score requirement for inspections, and failure to meet or exceed this minimum score will be considered a default under the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are expected to cooperate with Crave Cookies's inspectors and must correct any deficiencies noted during an inspection as soon as reasonably practical. If an inspection is conducted due to a governmental report, customer complaint, or a franchisee's non-compliance with System Standards, Crave Cookies may charge the franchisee for all out-of-pocket expenses plus an inspection fee.
