What happens if a franchisee fails the test after completing the initial Crave Cookies training?

You must attend training. You may send any additional persons to training that you want (up to the maximum described above). You must complete training to our satisfaction at least four weeks before opening your business. You will be required to pass a test which evaluates your understanding for the content and franchise operating content as covered in the training program. Should you fail to pass the test or complete the initial training, we have the right to terminate the franchise agreement with no refund of the initial franchise fee.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave Cookies's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must complete the initial training program to the franchisor's satisfaction at least four weeks before opening their business. As part of this training, the franchisee will be required to pass a test that evaluates their understanding of the training content and franchise operating content.
If a franchisee fails to pass the test or complete the initial training to Crave Cookies's satisfaction, Crave Cookies has the right to terminate the franchise agreement.
Furthermore, if the franchise agreement is terminated due to failure to pass the test or complete the initial training, the initial franchise fee will not be refunded to the franchisee. This represents a significant risk for prospective franchisees, as they could lose their initial investment if they do not successfully complete the training program.
