What This Means (2025 FDD)
Yes, according to Crave Cookies's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can designate a new address for notices. The franchise agreement states that any party can change their notice address by providing written notice of the new address as per Section 18.9 of the agreement.
For a Crave Cookies franchisee, this means that if their business or personal address changes after signing the franchise agreement, they can officially update where Crave Cookies sends important legal and contractual notices. This ensures that the franchisee receives all official communications from the franchisor.
The notice must be in writing and will be considered effective upon receipt or first rejection. It must be delivered personally, sent by registered or certified U.S. mail with return receipt requested, or sent via overnight courier. Crave Cookies Franchising, however, retains the right to amend the Manual, give binding notice of changes to System Standards, and deliver notices of default by electronic mail or other electronic communication.
This is a fairly standard clause in franchise agreements, allowing both parties to maintain accurate contact information throughout the term of the franchise relationship. Franchisees should ensure they follow the specified notification procedures to guarantee that the new address is properly recorded and acknowledged by Crave Cookies.
