- (i) Face-to-Face Meeting.
The Dispute shall first be discussed in a face-to-face meeting between Franchisee and Crave Cookies Franchising at Crave Cookies Franchising's then-current headquarters.
This face-to-face meeting will be held within thirty (30) days of Franchisee or Crave Cookies Franchising providing written notice to the other requesting such meeting.
Crave Cookies Franchising has the right, in its sole discretion, to waive this requirement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave Cookies' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any dispute between the franchisee and Crave Cookies Franchising will first be discussed in a face-to-face meeting. This meeting will take place at Crave Cookies Franchising's headquarters, at the time of the meeting.
This initial meeting is intended to resolve disputes amicably and quickly. Either the franchisee or Crave Cookies Franchising must provide written notice requesting the meeting, and the meeting must be held within thirty days of that notice. However, Crave Cookies Franchising has the right to waive this face-to-face meeting requirement at its discretion.
If the face-to-face meeting does not resolve the dispute, the next step is non-binding mediation. This mediation will also be conducted in the city and state of Crave Cookies Franchising's headquarters. The franchisee and Crave Cookies Franchising will split the costs of the mediator, but each party will bear their own expenses related to the mediation.
