What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave Cookies' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the standard pre-opening training is available to the Principal Executive and up to two other team members. This training takes place at Crave Cookies' headquarters or at a Crave Cookies business designated by the company.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the owner (Principal Executive) and a limited number of their staff can receive initial training directly from Crave Cookies. This is a valuable opportunity to learn the brand's operational standards, customer service protocols, and other essential aspects of running the business.

Crave Cookies does not charge a fee for this training, but the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, lodging, meal, and other out-of-pocket expenses for themselves and their team members. The FDD also states that Crave Cookies reserves the right to change the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of the individuals attending. This implies that the training may be tailored to some extent, but it also introduces a degree of uncertainty regarding the specific curriculum and duration.

In addition to the initial pre-opening training, the FDD also mentions that Crave Cookies may require the Principal Executive and/or other employees to complete further training programs at any time after opening. Crave Cookies may charge a reasonable fee for these post-opening training programs, and the franchisee will be responsible for all travel and living expenses if the training is held at a location that requires travel.
