What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Crave Cookies Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must complete the initial training program to Crave Cookies' satisfaction at least four weeks before opening their business. This requirement ensures that franchisees have sufficient time to absorb the training content and prepare for the operational demands of running a Crave Cookies store.
The training program includes a test to evaluate the franchisee's understanding of the material covered. Failing to pass the test or complete the initial training gives Crave Cookies the right to terminate the franchise agreement, with no refund of the initial franchise fee. This underscores the importance Crave Cookies places on franchisees being adequately prepared and knowledgeable about the brand's operating procedures.
Crave Cookies also mandates that the business must be supervised by the franchisee or a trained general manager. If a new general manager needs training, the franchisee will incur a fee of $250 per person, per day. While additional or refresher training courses are not currently required, Crave Cookies retains the right to implement them in the future, ensuring ongoing compliance with brand standards and operational best practices.
