According to Crave Cookies's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave Cookies Franchising will provide its location criteria to franchisees. The franchisee is responsible for finding potential locations and submitting them to Crave Cookies Franchising for review and advice. Crave Cookies Franchising will then review the proposed locations and advise the franchisee accordingly.
If the location and territory are not stated on the Summary Page of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must find a potential location within the Development Area described on the Summary Page and submit it to Crave Cookies Franchising with all related information requested. Crave Cookies Franchising has 30 days to either accept or reject the proposed location in writing; failure to respond within 30 days results in automatic rejection.
Upon acceptance of a location, Crave Cookies Franchising will issue a Location Acceptance Letter, which states the location and territory. The franchisor determines the territory in its good faith discretion, substantially in accordance with Item 12 of the Franchise Disclosure Document. However, Crave Cookies Franchising's advice or acceptance of a site does not guarantee the business's success, and Crave Cookies Franchising assumes no liability regarding the location of the business.
For any lease agreements, if requested by Crave Cookies Franchising, the franchisee must submit the proposed lease for written approval. The lease term, including renewals, must be no less than the term of the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee must also use commercially reasonable efforts to have the landlord sign a rider to the lease in the form required by Crave Cookies Franchising. The franchisee is responsible for constructing or remodeling the location to meet Crave Cookies Franchising's System Standards and must obtain approval for all plans before starting any work. Crave Cookies Franchising may inspect the construction or remodeling progress but is not required to do so. Franchisees are cautioned not to rely on any information or opinions from Crave Cookies Franchising regarding architectural, engineering, or legal matters during development and construction.
