What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Crave Cookies Franchise Disclosure Document, if requested by Crave Cookies, a franchisee must ensure that their general manager and other key employees sign Crave Cookies' current confidentiality and non-compete agreement, unless this is prohibited by law.

Beyond the confidentiality and non-compete agreements, the franchisee is responsible for the terms and conditions of employment for all personnel, including the general manager. This encompasses recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, compensation, and termination. The franchisee is also solely responsible for all actions of its personnel.

The FDD also states that the business must be supervised by the Principal Executive or a local general manager who has completed Crave Cookies' training program. Crave Cookies may also set minimum qualifications for categories of employees. Crave Cookies may also require that the Principal Executive and/or any other employees complete training programs, in any format and location determined by Crave Cookies. Crave Cookies may charge a reasonable fee for any training programs. If a training program requires travel, the franchisee is responsible for all travel, living, and other expenses.
