What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave Franchising, LLC operates under its corporate name. Additionally, Crave does business under the "Marks as described below." The "Marks" refer to the trade name and mark "Crave" along with additional service marks, trademarks, trade names, logos, emblems, and indicia of origin identified in Item 13 of the FDD. These marks are used within the Crave system.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that when establishing and operating a Crave restaurant or food truck, they will be using the "Crave" name and associated branding elements. This is a standard practice in franchising, where franchisees leverage the established brand recognition of the franchisor. Item 13 of the FDD will provide a comprehensive list of the specific trademarks and service marks that franchisees are authorized to use.
It is important for potential franchisees to understand the specific marks they are licensed to use and to adhere to the franchisor's guidelines for their proper usage. This ensures brand consistency and protects the integrity of the Crave brand. Franchisees should carefully review Item 13 and the operations manual for detailed information on brand standards and trademark usage.
