What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, under the Multi-Unit Development Agreement, Crave will provide multi-unit developers with resources and assistance as may be developed and offered.
Prior to opening, Crave will review information regarding potential sites or municipalities provided by the developer to determine if they meet Crave's standards for a Restaurant or Food Truck. If the site or municipality meets their criteria, Crave will approve it. Crave will also provide standard specifications and layouts for building and furnishing Restaurants and review site plans and final build-out plans to ensure they conform to Crave's standards.
For prospective multi-unit developers, it's important to note that the specific nature of these 'other resources and assistance' is not defined in the FDD. This means the scope of support could change over time as Crave develops new programs. It would be prudent for potential multi-unit developers to discuss with Crave what specific additional resources and assistance are currently available and how they might evolve during the term of the agreement.
