What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, under the Multi-Unit Development Agreement, Crave will review information regarding potential sites or municipalities that the franchisee provides. This review is to determine whether the sites or municipalities meet Crave's standards and criteria for a Crave Restaurant or Crave Food Truck. If the site or municipality meets Crave's criteria, Crave will approve the site for the Restaurant or the municipality for the Food Truck. This is according to Section 8.1 of the Multi-Unit Development Agreement.
This process is a crucial step for multi-unit developers as it ensures that the locations chosen align with Crave's brand and operational standards. By having Crave's approval, franchisees can be more confident that their chosen locations have the potential to succeed as a Crave Restaurant or Food Truck. This also helps maintain consistency across all Crave locations, which is important for brand recognition and customer experience.
In addition to site approval, Crave also provides standard specifications and layouts for building and furnishing Restaurants, and reviews the franchisee's site plan and final build-out plans to ensure they conform to Crave's standards. This comprehensive support helps multi-unit developers establish their Crave locations efficiently and in accordance with the brand's requirements.
