Can the Crave training program change without notice to the franchisee?

Crave Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

The primary instructors conducting our initial training program are Nick Stone and Kevin Mandarini. Each of our instructors has at least 8 years of experience relevant to the subjects they are teaching and the details of their experience are in Item 2. The entire training program is subject to change due to updates in materials, methods, manuals, and personnel without notice to you. The subjects and time periods allocated to the subjects actually taught to a specific franchisee and its personnel may vary based on the individual needs and/or experience of those people being trained.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training program is subject to change without prior notification to franchisees. These changes may include updates to training materials, teaching methods, manuals, and personnel. This means that the content and delivery of the training can be modified by Crave at any time, without needing to inform franchisees in advance.

This policy allows Crave to adapt its training program quickly in response to new developments, market changes, or operational improvements. While this flexibility can be beneficial for maintaining the relevance and effectiveness of the training, it also introduces an element of uncertainty for franchisees. Franchisees may need to adjust their schedules or expectations if the training program is altered unexpectedly.

Prospective Crave franchisees should be aware that the specifics of the training they receive may differ from what was initially presented or expected. It would be prudent for potential franchisees to inquire about the frequency and nature of past training program changes to better understand the potential for future modifications. Understanding the factors that typically drive these changes can help franchisees prepare for and adapt to any updates in the training program more effectively.
