What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave may require the franchisee's general manager to attend refresher training courses. Crave may designate that attendance at refresher training is mandatory for the franchisee, their general manager, and/or other Franchised Business personnel.

While Crave does not anticipate charging a fee for the refresher training itself, the franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses incurred by their trainees. These expenses include travel, lodging, meals, and wages. This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the time their general manager spends in training but also for all associated costs.

Crave may also choose to hold an annual meeting of franchisees for additional training, to introduce new products or system changes, or for other reasons. Attendance at this annual meeting may also be mandatory for the franchisee, their general manager, and/or other Franchised Business personnel. Similar to refresher training, Crave does not anticipate charging a fee to attend the meeting, but the franchisee will be responsible for all expenses incurred by their attendees, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages. Crave will designate the location of any franchisee meeting, such as a resort hotel, but will not designate an unreasonably expensive site.
