What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave may hold a meeting of franchisees to discuss new menu offerings, new standards of operation, provide training, and address other matters pertaining to the franchise. Crave may designate that attendance at such a meeting is mandatory for the franchisee, their general manager, and/or other Franchised Business personnel.
Crave does not anticipate charging a fee to attend the meeting, but franchisees are responsible for covering all expenses incurred by their attendees. These expenses include travel, lodging, meals, and wages. Crave will designate the location of any franchisee meeting, such as a resort hotel, but will not designate an unreasonably expensive site.
This annual meeting is in addition to the initial training program that Crave provides, as well as any refresher training courses that Crave may choose to hold. Franchisees should be prepared to budget for the costs associated with attending these meetings, especially if attendance is mandatory.
