What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is initially required to pay $5,000 to Crave for the grand opening marketing campaign. However, this amount is amended for Crave Food truck franchises.

For Crave restaurants, this grand opening marketing campaign is designed to promote the opening of the franchised business and is generally conducted within the first 90 days of opening, or another period designated by Crave. The campaign includes giveaways and other promotions as required by Crave. This initial marketing expenditure is in addition to ongoing marketing contributions.

For Crave Food trucks, the initial $5,000 grand opening marketing expenditure is amended to $2,500. This amendment reduces the initial financial burden for franchisees opting for a food truck model, while still requiring an investment in marketing to promote the new business launch.
