What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave may require franchisees to purchase logoed merchandise and memorabilia from specific sources. Crave may make available for resale to customers certain merchandise identifying the system, such as logoed merchandise and memorabilia, and other proprietary products in sufficient amounts to meet customer demand.

Crave may specify that franchisees must purchase such merchandise from Crave, its affiliate, or another designated supplier. Franchisees must also purchase from Crave or its designated supplier for resale to customers proprietary products and other merchandise identifying the System as Crave requires, such as logoed merchandise, memorabilia, and promotional products, in amounts sufficient to satisfy customer demand.

This means that as a Crave franchisee, you may be obligated to purchase certain branded merchandise and products exclusively from Crave or its approved suppliers. This requirement ensures brand consistency and quality control across all franchise locations. While this can help maintain a uniform brand image, it also limits your ability to source these items from potentially less expensive or alternative suppliers. It is important to factor in these potential costs and limitations when evaluating the overall profitability of the franchise.
