What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Crave FDD, in addition to training programs and seminars, Crave provides several other forms of assistance and activities related to the operation of a franchised business. Crave may visit and evaluate the franchised business to ensure that the System's standards are maintained. They also provide advice and written materials, including updates to the manual, concerning techniques for managing and operating the franchised business, including new developments and improvements in equipment, food products, packaging, and preparation. Crave may also administer the Brand Development Fund.

Crave may designate geographic areas with multiple locations as marketing cooperatives, requiring franchisees to participate. They also maintain the right to specify content and procedures for franchisees to update their "click through" subpage on Crave's website. Furthermore, Crave may establish an intranet for franchisees to download operations and marketing materials, exchange emails, participate in system discussion forums, and receive system-wide communications.

Crave may form an advisory council comprised of representatives from both Crave and its franchisees to collaborate on improvements to the System, products, and advertising. Franchisees who participate on the advisory council are responsible for their own expenses, such as travel and lodging for council meetings. These activities and services aim to support franchisees in maintaining brand standards, improving operations, and participating in marketing efforts.
