Our estimate assumes you will develop the minimum of three Franchised Businesses, with the low end representing the development fee if you commit to develop three Express Restaurants and the high end representing the development fee if you commit to develop three Restaurants. If you choose to develop additional Franchised Businesses, your development fee will increase by 50% of the initial franchise fee for each additional Food Truck or Restaurant you commit to develop.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the development fee ranges from $60,000 to $85,000. This fee is paid as a lump sum when signing the Multi-Unit Development Agreement and is payable to Crave.
The development fee allows a franchisee to develop multiple Crave locations. The FDD notes that the lower end of the estimate ($60,000) represents the development fee if the franchisee commits to developing three Express Restaurants. The higher end ($85,000) represents the development fee if the franchisee commits to developing three full-service Restaurants.
If a franchisee chooses to develop more than three Franchised Businesses, the development fee will increase by 50% of the initial franchise fee for each additional Food Truck or Restaurant they commit to develop. Since the initial franchise fee is $45,000, each additional unit would add $22,500 to the development fee. This structure incentivizes multi-unit development while allowing flexibility in the number and type of units a franchisee commits to opening.
