What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a grand opening marketing fee. For a Restaurant location, the franchisee must pay Crave $5,000 to conduct a grand opening marketing campaign. For a Food Truck location, the franchisee must also pay Crave $2,500 for the grand opening marketing campaign.
The grand opening marketing campaign for a Restaurant will be conducted during the first 90 days of operation, but Crave may choose a different time period. For a Food Truck, the grand opening marketing fee is due upon signing the Truck Lease.
This fee is paid to Crave, who manages the marketing efforts. This is a mandatory fee, so prospective franchisees should factor it into their initial investment costs. It is important to note that this fee is separate from any ongoing marketing or advertising fees that franchisees may be required to pay throughout the term of the franchise agreement.
