Each of our instructors has at least 8 years of experience relevant to the subjects they are teaching and the details of their experience are in Item 2. The entire training program is subject to change due to updates in materials, methods, manuals, and personnel without notice to you. The subjects and time periods allocated to the subjects actually taught to a specific franchisee and its personnel may vary based on the individual needs and/or experience of those people being trained.

We may choose to hold refresher training courses, and we may designate that attendance at refresher training is mandatory for you, your general manager, and/or other Franchised Business personnel. We do not anticipate charging a fee for refresher training, but you will pay for all the expenses incurred by your trainees, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the location of franchisee training is designated by the franchisor. The training programs for both restaurant and food truck operations may take place at a training facility designated by Crave, or at an operating Crave business.

For restaurant operations, the training subjects include orientation, restaurant operations, food prep station, line cook/food assembly, food expediter & delivery, and general manager training. The total training time is 15 to 55 hours of classroom training and 37 total hours of on-the-job training. For food truck operations, the training subjects include orientation, truck operations, food prep station, line cook/food assembly, and general manager training. The total training time is 12 to 28 hours of classroom training and 16 hours of on-the-job training.

Prospective franchisees should note that they or their general manager must satisfactorily complete the initial training program before being permitted to open their franchised business. If they do not, they must designate a replacement to complete the training. Crave has the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement if the replacement general manager cannot complete the initial training program to their satisfaction.
