You must pay us an initial franchise fee of $30,000 for the right to establish a single Crave Food Truck business under a Franchise Agreement. If you already own and operate a Crave Restaurant and desire to own and operate a Food Truck business, the initial franchise fee for the Food Truck will be reduced to $20,000.
From time to time, we may offer special incentive programs as part of our franchise development activities. We currently offer an incentive program where we will discount the initial franchise fee by $5,000 to veterans and active-duty military personnel for the first Franchised Business purchased. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for a single Crave Food Truck is $30,000. However, this fee can be reduced to $20,000 if the franchisee already owns and operates a Crave Restaurant. This initial franchise fee grants the franchisee the right to establish a single Crave Food Truck business under a Franchise Agreement.
Crave also offers incentive programs, such as a $5,000 discount on the initial franchise fee for veterans and active-duty military personnel for their first franchise. However, Crave retains the right to modify or withdraw any incentive program without prior notice. The initial franchise fee is uniformly applied to all franchisees and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
For franchisees interested in developing multiple units through a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, the development fee is calculated differently. For example, committing to develop three Food Trucks would result in a development fee of $60,000, calculated as the initial franchise fee for the first truck ($30,000) plus 50% of the initial fee for the additional two trucks (2 x $15,000 = $30,000). This development fee is earned upon receipt and is not refundable or credited against future fees.
