What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Crave establishes a website and provides a "click through" subpage for a franchisee's location, the franchisee must routinely provide updated copy, photographs, and news stories about their franchised business. This information is intended for posting on the franchisee's "click through" subpage. Crave retains the right to specify the content, frequency, and procedure for updating the subpage.

This means that as a Crave franchisee, you may need to actively create and submit content to Crave for your subpage. This could include writing about local events, taking high-quality photos of your restaurant and food, and keeping Crave informed of any newsworthy happenings at your location. The frequency and specific content requirements will be determined by Crave.

Crave maintains control over all websites and electronic commerce activities related to the system, including the content on the "click through" subpage. Crave also owns the copyrights to all material on any website they establish, including any material provided by the franchisee for their subpage. Franchisees are not allowed to create their own websites or online presence without written approval from Crave, ensuring brand consistency and control over online marketing efforts.
