What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crave Franchising, LLC started offering franchises in February 2018. This indicates that Crave is a relatively new franchise system, which could present both opportunities and challenges for potential franchisees.
As a newer franchise, Crave may be more open to franchisee input and offer more flexible terms compared to established brands. There may be opportunities to secure prime territories and influence the development of the franchise system. However, it's also important to recognize the potential risks associated with investing in a younger franchise.
Specifically, prospective franchisees should conduct thorough due diligence to assess the maturity and stability of the Crave franchise system. This includes evaluating the franchisor's experience, the strength of the brand, and the performance of existing franchise locations. Understanding the support and training provided by Crave is also crucial to ensure franchisees have the resources they need to succeed. Additionally, it would be prudent to speak with current Crave franchisees to gain insights into their experiences and assess the overall health of the franchise system.
