What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have specific obligations regarding inspections and maintenance of their food trucks. Franchisees must provide Crave with copies of all maintenance and repair records and invoices upon request. This ensures that Crave can monitor the upkeep and condition of the franchised units.
In addition to providing records, franchisees are required to maintain the exterior of the food truck in a clean and good condition. This includes promptly repairing any scratches and dents and ensuring the food truck is professionally washed at least once a week. These requirements help maintain the brand's image and customer appeal.
Furthermore, franchisees are responsible for filing all required state registration and inspection reports for the food truck. They must also submit the food truck for annual vehicle inspection as required by state law and provide these reports to Crave. The franchisee is responsible for paying all registration and inspection fees. These measures ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards, protecting both the franchisee and the Crave brand.
