What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crave's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Development Area is indeed where the Multi-Unit Developer may locate Crave outlets. The FDD includes an attachment that describes the Development Area within which the Multi-Unit Developer may locate Crave outlets under the agreement.

Furthermore, the agreement authorizes and obliges the Multi-Unit Developer to establish and operate Crave outlets pursuant to a Franchise Agreement for each Franchised Business. The Minimum Performance Schedule outlines the minimum cumulative number of Franchise Agreements for Franchised Businesses to be located and operating within the Development Area.

Crave also agrees that, provided the developer is in full compliance with the terms of the agreement, neither Crave nor its affiliates will develop or operate or grant franchises for the development or operation of Franchised Businesses within the Development Area, except for the franchises granted to the developer under the agreement, and as otherwise expressly provided in the agreement. However, upon termination or expiration of the agreement, Crave and its affiliates have the right to develop and operate, and to grant to others development rights and franchises to develop and operate, dedicated Crave outlets within the Development Area, subject to any territorial rights granted to the developer.
