What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, Craters & Freighters may conduct an on-site visit within the first 90 days of a franchisee's operation. This visit, which lasts for three business days, is designed to provide post-opening support and assistance in running the franchised business.
Specifically, the FDD states that there will be no charge to the franchisee for this initial on-site visit. This means Craters & Freighters covers the cost of its personnel or designee's time for the three days spent at the franchisee's premises.
However, it is important to note that while the FDD specifies that the franchisee will not be charged for the on-site visit itself during the first 90 days, it does not detail whether the franchisee is responsible for covering travel and living expenses incurred by Craters & Freighters personnel during the visit. For additional on-site visits beyond the initial 90 days, the franchisee is responsible for travel and living expenses.
