What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Statement of Franchisee' is used to ensure there are no misunderstandings between the franchisee and Craters & Freighters, and to prevent potential legal violations. Craters & Freighters relies on the franchisee's statements within this document.
The franchisee assures Craters & Freighters that no unauthorized promises or agreements have been made that contradict the Franchise Disclosure Document or the Franchise Agreement, except as explicitly noted. This includes any claims or representations regarding potential sales, costs, income, or profits that are not included in Item 19 of the FDD. The franchisee also confirms that no contingencies or prerequisites exist unless they are described in the Franchise Agreement or its addenda.
By initialing the 'Statement of Franchisee', the franchisee acknowledges their understanding of these conditions and confirms the accuracy of their statements. However, this statement does not apply if the franchise is offered or sold in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. Furthermore, the statement should not be signed if the franchise is to be operated in, or the franchisee is a resident of, Maryland.
