What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, Craters & Freighters requires franchisee managers to attend periodic training courses or meetings. These sessions cover new methods, techniques, equipment, services, and procedures, and Craters & Freighters determines the times and locations for these events.

If franchisee personnel are required to travel to attend these periodic courses or training meetings, the franchisee is responsible for covering all associated travel and living expenses. Additionally, Craters & Freighters requires the franchisee's owners (or their designees) to attend the annual franchisee convention and regional meetings conducted by Craters & Freighters.

This ongoing training is a standard practice in franchising, intended to keep franchisees updated on best practices and changes to the Craters & Freighters system. Franchisees should factor in the costs of travel and accommodation for themselves and their managers when budgeting for these required training events.
