What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, Craters & Freighters does not provide compensation or other benefits to any public figure for the use of their name or image in the franchise or for endorsements in advertisements. This means that Craters & Freighters franchisees cannot expect the franchisor to use celebrity endorsements to promote the brand.
Furthermore, as a Craters & Freighters franchisee, you are not permitted to use the name of any public figure or celebrity in your own promotional and advertising efforts. This restriction ensures that franchisees do not create unauthorized associations with celebrities that could mislead customers or dilute the brand's image.
This policy is fairly common in franchising, as franchisors typically want to maintain tight control over their brand and avoid any potential liabilities associated with celebrity endorsements. Prospective franchisees should be aware of these restrictions and plan their marketing strategies accordingly, focusing on other methods to attract customers.
