What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters FDD, some staff members who conduct the Initial Training Program must have a minimum level of industry experience. Specifically, "other staff members" involved in the training program are required to have at least three years of experience in the industry.
This requirement ensures that franchisees receive training from individuals with practical knowledge and expertise in freight forwarding, transportation, and logistics. The FDD lists several team members who conduct the Initial Training Program, including the Executive Vice President of Transportation, Logistics, & Franchise Support, the Director of Franchise Development, the Director of Technology & Engineering, the Executive Vice President, and the President & Chief Marketing Officer. These individuals have between 9 and 30 years of experience in the industry.
For a prospective franchisee, this indicates that Craters & Freighters places importance on providing knowledgeable trainers. While the FDD specifies the experience level for trainers, it does not detail the required experience for other staff members a franchisee might hire. A prospective franchisee should inquire with Craters & Freighters about recommended or required experience levels for various roles within their franchise to ensure they can provide quality service and expertise to their customers.
