According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. This means that the construction, interpretation, and enforcement of the franchise agreement will be subject to Colorado law.
This is a standard clause in franchise agreements, specifying which jurisdiction's laws will apply in case of disputes. Franchisees should be aware that regardless of where their Craters & Freighters franchise is located, Colorado law will govern their agreement.
However, there is an exception for claims arising under the Washington Franchise Investment Protection Act, RCW 19.100, and the rules adopted thereunder.
