What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Craters & Freighters' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase specific hardware and software to maintain system standards and quality packing and shipping. This includes hardware and software, an Internet connection and service, dedicated telephone and power lines, and other computer-related accessories, peripherals, and equipment to operate the computer, Proprietary Software, and select software provided by Craters & Freighters. Additionally, a fax machine and telephone are required.
These requirements ensure that all Craters & Freighters locations have the necessary tools to operate efficiently and meet the brand's standards. The specifications for these items may be detailed in the Operations Manuals, which franchisees must adhere to. Craters & Freighters retains the right to revise these requirements and specifications from time to time, so franchisees need to stay updated on any changes.
While the FDD specifies the categories of hardware and software required, it does not list the specific brands, models, or detailed specifications. Prospective franchisees should request a comprehensive list of approved or required hardware and software, including minimum specifications, from Craters & Freighters to accurately estimate startup costs and ensure compliance with the brand's standards. Understanding these requirements is crucial for budgeting and operational planning.
