What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters FDD, the franchisee is responsible for certain aspects of the Initial Training Program. Specifically, the franchisee must ensure that the owner(s) and the Designated Manager participate in and complete the Initial Training Program to Craters & Freighters' satisfaction before opening the franchised business. There is no limit to the number of people who may participate in the Initial Training Program.
In addition to ensuring participation, the franchisee is financially responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred by themselves and their personnel while participating in the Initial Training Program. This includes costs related to transportation, accommodation, meals, and other related expenses during the training period.
Furthermore, Craters & Freighters may determine that additional training is necessary after the franchised business has opened. In such cases, Craters & Freighters will provide approximately three days of additional training at the premises during normal business hours. If more than three days of additional training are required, the franchisee will be required to pay Craters & Freighters its then-current daily rate for the additional training, as well as reimburse Craters & Freighters for all out-of-pocket expenses incurred, including travel and living expenses.
