What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees acknowledge that Craters & Freighters has the right to delegate the performance of its obligations and duties under the franchise agreement to third parties. These third parties may be agents or independent contractors that Craters & Freighters contracts with to provide such services.
This means that Craters & Freighters is not required to perform all of its obligations directly. It can outsource certain tasks or responsibilities to other companies or individuals. This could include anything from providing training to managing the franchise network's technology infrastructure.
By signing the franchise agreement, the franchisee agrees in advance to any such delegation by Craters & Freighters. This gives Craters & Freighters flexibility in how it manages its franchise system, but it also means that franchisees may have to work with third-party providers for certain services or support. It is a standard practice in franchising to allow the franchisor to delegate duties to ensure efficient operations and leverage specialized expertise.
