What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Craters & Freighters' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee's owner(s) must participate in and complete the Initial Training Program to the Franchisor's satisfaction before opening the Franchised Business. Additionally, if a Designated Manager is engaged, they must also successfully complete the Initial Training Program to the Franchisor's satisfaction before assuming any management responsibilities.
The Initial Training Program for Craters & Freighters franchisees is approximately nine days long and is held at the corporate headquarters in Golden, Colorado, and/or at one or more of their franchise locations in Colorado. There is no limit to the number of individuals who are entitled to participate in the Initial Training Program.
If the franchisee or the Designated Manager does not complete the Initial Training Program to Craters & Freighters' satisfaction, Craters & Freighters may terminate the Franchise Agreement. Craters & Freighters may also require the franchisee, the Designated Manager (if applicable), and/or the Lead Salesperson to attend periodic courses regarding new methods, techniques, equipment, services, and procedures at designated times and locations, with the franchisee responsible for all associated travel and living expenses.
