What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Craters & Freighters Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have the opportunity to consult with an attorney before signing any binding documents or paying any sums. Craters & Freighters also strongly recommends that franchisees obtain independent advice from a professional advisor, such as an attorney or accountant.

This is a standard practice in franchising, as the franchise agreement is a legally binding document. Consulting with an attorney can help the franchisee understand the terms of the agreement and their rights and obligations. It also ensures that the franchisee is making an informed decision before investing in the franchise.

Additionally, the Franchisee Releasing Parties acknowledge that they have had adequate opportunity to gather all information necessary to enter into the Agreement and release. The Parties have had adequate opportunity to consult with an attorney of their own choice, including with respect to the release of claims set forth herein. This ensures that the franchisee understands the agreement and is entering into it voluntarily.
